ND Easy

ND Easy turns your iPhone into a light meter and tells you which ND filter to mount on your drone or action camera — no exposure math required.

How it works

  1. Pick your camera — Profiles tab → tap “+” → choose your drone/camera model from the catalog, or enter one manually if it’s not listed.
  2. Add the ND filters you own — tap the pencil icon on your camera to add/remove the ND filters you actually have (ND2 through ND1024).
  3. Measure — ND Meter tab → select your video frame rate → point the iPhone at the scene and tap measure. ND Easy tells you which of your owned filters to mount, the ideal theoretical filter for reference, and the resulting shutter speed.

Polarizer (CPL) tool

The Polarizer tab tells you how effective a circular polarizer would be in your current direction, based on the sun’s position. Effectiveness is strongest at 90° from the sun.

Languages

ND Easy is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), and Russian — following your iPhone’s language automatically, or set manually in Settings → Language.
